Still life- dissected fruit

this is my still life of dissected fruit, now finished.

done in oil pastel

jalapenos
tomato
pepper
orange and lime

took a week to complete ahaa
quite pleased with it...but am still not sure with the green jalapeno :/ cud be better i don't like it at all ......but other than that am really happy. My art teacher said the black background works, which is exactly what i thought.
